Invisalign is the most current approach to straightening teeth. We use custom-made aligners created for you and you alone. They are made of smooth, comfortable plastic that is virtually invisible when you wear them over your natural teeth. As you wear the aligners, they are designed to gently shift your teeth back into place, based on calculations of the movement that your dentist plans for you. Another great aspect of these “braces” is you will never need metal brackets that have to be attached to your teeth with wires to tighten, making the straight-teeth process so much easier for the inside of your mouth.

You will wear a set of aligners every day for approximately two weeks, then move on to use the next new set. This treatment plan takes about two years on average. You will have little to no interference in your daily life and most people will not even know you are straightening your teeth. Invisalign has proven to effectively correct conditions such as gaps between teeth (caused by abnormal jawbone growth), overbite (when the upper teeth bite over the lower teeth), under-bite (when the lower teeth protrude past the front teeth), open bite (when the front teeth are unable to meet), overcrowded teeth (that push each other out of the way), and cross-bite (when the upper and lower jaws are both misaligned).
